The Standard SAE/ISO 21434 provides formal requirements about cyber security practices and processes to be established for the development of road vehicles and related equipments. Considered as a key reference for the demonstration of compliance with upcoming UNECE regulations (WP.29), this document support the establishment of Cyber Security Management Systems (CSMS) across the automotive organizations, as well as the activities to be handled across the lifecycle of automotive target (also incl. pre-/post- development phases).

 

After an introduction about cyber security trends and threats applied to the automotive industry and an explanation of key milestones and future requirements related to homologations, both on organizational level (CSMS) and vehicle level (tyoe approval), this training guides you through the structure of this standard and helps you to clearly understand the development life cycle, actors, processes, activities and documentation to be prepared at each stage.

During the course, several examples and exercises will be conducted in order to support the correct understanding of all material and verify the intended learning goals.

 

Our course is structured in 10 modules, starting from introduction to the context of automotive cyber security (incl. upcoming regulations) and addressing every parts of the ISA/SAE 21434 standard in a pragmatic approach which will allow you to get a good understanding of compliance targets
