ISO/IEC TR 5469 — Functional safety and AI systems

 
ISO/IEC 5469 is a technical report (TR) that covers the characteristics, potential hazards, and techniques and processes associated with the implementation of AI within safety-critical operations, the use of non-AI safety measures to guarantee safety for equipment controlled by AI, and the use of AI systems to create and develop safety-related functions. This TR provides a very strong background in functional safety of AI systems and is a perfect complementary to the conventional functional safety standards and regulations.
