Overview

Automotive Cybersecurity Red Belt Training provides a comprehensive overview of best practices in automotive cybersecurity. This training covers the ‘Why’ and ‘How’ of developing a cybersecurity culture within your company, leading to safe, secure, and compliant products. It is designed to help cybersecurity engineers, product managers, internal auditors, supply chain managers, and top-level managers meet regulatory and state-of-the-art standards. The course is based on the requirements of UN ECE R155 and ISO/SAE 21434:2021.

  • Introduction to automotive cybersecurity, threats and trends
  • Rules for Vehicle Manufacturers: UN ECE R155, CSMS certification and VTA
  • ISO/SAE 21434 scope, objectives and overview
  • Relationship with upcoming standards (CS V&V ISO/SAE PWI 8477 CS V&V, CS Assurance Levels (CAL) and Targeted Attack Feasibility (TAF) ISO/SAE PAS 8475)

Session 1.2: ISO/SAE 21434 management and risk assessment

  • ISO/SAE 21434 #5, Cybersecurity management on organizational level

Day 2

Session 2.2: ISO/SAE 21434 Continual CS activities and post-development management

Frequently asked questions

Does this training require any prerequisites?

This training has been designed to be accessible regardless of your background. Therefore, there are no prerequisites to follow this training. The only requirement is to have a good understanding of English or the language in which the training is given.

Does this training only present standard’s requirements?

No, this training goes beyond just presenting the standard’s requirements. It includes practical examples, case studies, and exercises to ensure a comprehensive understanding of automotive cybersecurity. You’ll learn how to apply the standards in real-world scenarios and develop the skills needed to address current and emerging threats in the automotive industry.

Does the training will include workshop?

The training is mainly theoretical. However, during all the training there are Q&A sessions and for some areas use cases will be opened to add some interactions during the training. Furtheremore at the end of the training there is a small interactive multiple choice questions to prepare the trainee for the potential exam.

Will I receive a certificate after the training?

Yes, every attendee will receive a certificate of participation after the training. Additionally, we offer a personal certification valid for three years, which you can obtain by passing an optional exam with a score of over 75%. This certification, titled “Automotive Cybersecurity Red Belt,” also qualifies you for the advanced Black Belt training.
